Please understand that Neo Tribe Kali is NOT a commercial operation. We generally do NOT seek to recruit many new students, so we do NOT offer free trial classes, nor do we generally welcome visitors to "check out our classes." Our past record speaks for itself.
If you care to find out about Guro Jeff... GOOGLE him... GURO JEFF CHUNG. There are many reviews and comments regarding his teaching abilities and his skill levels. As mentioned in the home page, we have had 6 students deal with live blade attacks successfully. Men, women, private citizens AND also LEOs.
The WAY in which we train and the METHODS we use to develop skills is what separates us from commercial schools. Ask them what their success rate is.
Please do not ask for trial lessons or the opportunity to "check us out." Guro Jeff actually finds that offensive. He has many youtube videos where you can see his teaching style and the way he conveys information. You can see how he moves, and how he explains things. IF you feel the commercial school fits your needs better, go and enjoy. IF you want to seriously learn Kali, and learn to do well in the streets, you will make the commitment and come and join us.
Most new students coming to Neo Tribe Kali are used to dealing with commercial martial arts. They believe that they need to come to 2 or 3 classes a week to develop skill and improve rapidly.
There is no question that the more regularly you train, the faster and better one's skill development.
At the same time, there is NO DOUBT, that once a week training with Neo Tribe Kali will do MORE for you than 3-5x a week training at the vast majority of commercial Karate/Kung Fu or Filipino Martial Arts classes. The difference is INTENSITY and who your training partners are, AND what is the objective of the Instructors, the students AND the class structure.
In Manhattan, Neo Tribe Kali classes are only available by private appointment. Neo Tribe Kali is strictly a PRIVATE and exclusive club membership.
Group Classes: Group classes are about 2 hours long.
Private Lessons: Private lessons are intended for those students who wish to progress at a faster rate, than just attending group classes alone. Private lessons are more individually personalized and directed. Private lessons are available for 30 or 60 minute sessions. We have both private group rates and package rates available as well.

Note: All students who wish to attend class must speak with Guro prior to coming to the training site. Unless there are at least two confirmed attendees, there will be NO session on that day. That is our protocal and procedure.

Special Note:
Group classes may be arranged by groups of individuals at other times. The rate for such arranged classes are still $50 per session per individual. (minimum of 4 students required)
