Guro Jeff is the Chief Instructor of Neo Tribe Kali. He is an acknowledged expert in the use of Edged Weapons and Tools. Guro Jeff has been training in the martial arts since 1971. He has spent the last 20+ years training and specializing in Filipino Martial Arts and especially edged weapons combatives.

Neo Tribe Kali is slowly but steadily growing across the United States.Headquartered here in New York City, he has representatives and 'training group leaders' spreading the words and skills and philosophy of Neo Tribe Kali across the country.

Guro Jeff has taught many individuals in a career that spans 4 decades. He has taught children, and adults, in school systems, has taught college clubs, operated his own commercial schools, and has taught privately and has been very busy over the past few years teaching on the seminar circuit nationwide. He has taught in Seattle, San Francisco, LA, Salt Lake City, Chicago, Bloomington/IN, Manchester/NH, Baltimore, Connecticut, Atlanta, NJ and obviously, here in NYC and Long island.

Guro Jeff clearly has experience in training, teaching and sharing his unique approach to the martial arts. He has trained longer and taught much longer than many of his contemporaries, who may only have 15 or fewer years training and teaching in total. This experience combined with Guro Jeff's past experiences as a NYC EMT and as a licensed physical therapist, working with professional level athletes, allows him a unique perspective and understanding of how the body and the student can learn, develop and progress.

In addition, Guro Jeff has had personal practical experience protecting himself on the streets of NYC. He has also enabled a number of his students to also be successful and thrive while protecting themselves against real world attacks here in NYC.
